Privacy Policy

This policy covers Routes & Riches and berkancimen.com. They are run by Berkan Çimen, an independent developer, who is responsible for your data. Contact: support@berkancimen.com.

In short

The game has no sign-up. It does not ask for your email address, real name or contacts.
Your game progress and settings stay on your device. The name you choose goes on the leaderboard, where other players can see it.
The game uses Google and Unity services for analytics, crash reports, ads and leaderboards, and they receive device and usage data.
I do not sell your personal data.

Your profile name, picture and colour, your settings and your game progress are stored on your device. Of these, only the name leaves the device, for the leaderboard.

Ads and consent

The game shows rewarded ads only when you choose to watch one. Where the law requires it, such as in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, the game asks for your consent through Google's consent form before ads load. On iPhone, the system asks whether the game may track you, and your advertising ID is available only if you allow it. If you decline, you may still see ads, but they are less personalized.

Why it is used

To run the game's leaderboards and daily features.
To find and fix crashes, and to see which parts of the game work well.
To show ads that pay for the free game and to give you the reward you chose.
To answer your messages.

Where EU or UK data protection law applies, the legal bases are performing our agreement with you (leaderboards, rewards, support), legitimate interests (crash reports, analytics, security) and your consent (personalized ads). Turkish users have equivalent protection under Law No. 6698 (KVKK).

The services above process data for the game. Google and Unity operate their own systems and may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards. Their policies explain more: Google, how Google uses data from partner apps, Firebase, Unity, Cloudflare. I may also disclose data if the law requires it.

How long it is kept

On your device: until you delete the game.
Leaderboards: while the game runs, or until you ask me to delete your entry.
Analytics: as long as it helps to improve the game, then deleted.
Crash reports: about 90 days.
Support emails: as long as needed to help you, and as the law requires.

Your choices and rights

Tracking on iPhone: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Advertising ID on Android: reset or delete it in your device's ad settings.
Leaderboard name: change it on the Profile screen.
Delete your leaderboard entry: email me your leaderboard name and platform.
Device data: deleting the game removes your progress and settings.

Depending on where you live, including under the GDPR and KVKK, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to object or limit its use, to move it and to withdraw consent. Write to the address above. Because the game has no accounts, I may need your leaderboard name to find your data, and analytics data may not be linkable to you at all. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Children

The game is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided data, write to me and I will delete what I can find.

This website

This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or ad trackers of its own. It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as IP addresses to deliver and protect the site.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date. For significant changes, I will also tell you in the game or in its store listing where possible.
